De eerste langspeler van P.J.M. Bond, die in 2021 het mini-album Sunset Blues afleverde, is direct een bijzonder werkstuk. De plaat is volledig gebaseerd op In Our Time, de eerste verhalenbundel van Ernest Hemingway. Bond, die afstudeerde op Hemingway, wilde altijd al muziek combineren met een literair werk. Dus krijgen befaamde verhalen als Indian Camp, The Three-Day Blow en Big Two-Hearted River dit jaar een muzikale interpretatie. In 2022 trok multi-instrumentalist Bond zich op in een boshut om de 17 verhalen uit In Our Time in muziek om te zetten. Gewapend met strijkers, dwarsfluiten, piano, harmonium, harp, orgel, harmonica en akoestische gitaren legde Bond zijn droomproject later ook daadwerkelijk vast....
